Coordination of the apostille with Senegal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the sworn translation through our Embassy-accredited partner.
Enrollment in an Italian A1 course
Support enrolling at the Italian Cultural Institute in Dakar, through to the required minimum A1 level.
University or training center search
Identifying the institution or training center best suited to the candidate’s profile, among accessible institutions and existing partnerships.
Universitaly pre-enrollment support
Support through the pre-enrollment process on the official Universitaly portal, in line with each institution’s deadlines.
Visa guidance
Preparing the file and guidance toward the Italian Embassy in Dakar for the study visa application.

📚 Pathways by sector
🔧 Mechanics and metalworking
ITS Academy pathway (Higher Technical Institutes): post-secondary diploma in 2 years, open access with no national entrance exam, no prior technical background required. At least 50% of the training takes place in a company.
Enrollment generally opens between May and July for a September-October start.
🩺 Health (nursing and health professions)
Nationally programmed access: mandatory entrance exam with limited places reserved for non-EU students. Exam generally held mid-September. We support preparation and the application file, but admission depends exclusively on the outcome of the national exam.
👗 Fashion and modelling
Private schools (e.g. Istituto Marangoni, IED): continuous admission year-round, response within 15-30 working days, already a very international community. Flexible but paid pathway, reserved for candidates with confirmed personal funding or a private scholarship.
🎭 Culture and heritage
Sector supported by an active Italy-Senegal cooperation: Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) language lectureship at Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar, cultural heritage enhancement programmes with the University of Florence. A candidate already trained in Italian at UCAD starts with a stronger application.
